It turns out Priscilla Presley’s wish for a burial at Graceland—a topic of discussion during her dispute with granddaughter Riley Keough over Lisa Marie Presley’s trust—might one day come true.
A recent court petition provides a closer look at the May settlement between Priscilla and Keough. Among the stipulations revealed is that the 34-year-old Daisy Jones & The Six star allow her grandmother to be buried in the Meditation Garden of the sprawling Memphis, Tennessee, property. The Los Angeles Times first reported details of the petition Monday evening.
According to ABC News, the petition states that Keough—as the owner of Graceland—will “to the extent of her authority” allow Priscilla a burial and memorial service on the grounds. Her grave is to be located “at the location closest to Elvis Presley without moving any existing grave site.”

Just days after counsel for Presley and Keough announced their settlement on May 16, TMZ reported that Priscilla had asked for a burial site next to ex-husband Elvis, the famed “King” of rock ’n’ roll, during negotiations. But it was believed to be a “non-starter,” mainly because of the layout of the Meditation Garden.
Elvis, who died in 1977, is laid to rest on the property with his parents, Vernon and Gladys Presley, on one side of his grave and his paternal grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley, on the other. That meant at least one grave would have needed to be moved to accommodate Priscilla’s request.
Lisa Marie, who died of cardiac arrest in January, has a monument located on the opposite side of a circular garden fountain next to her late son, Benjamin Keough.
Priscilla hasn’t commented following Monday’s petition filing but did confirm her desire for a resting place at Graceland shortly after the settlement was reached. “Although I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon, it is my family’s and my wish for me to be laid to rest with my daughter and the love of my life when that time comes,” she told TMZ.
